Dr. Tayyab Imran heads the newly created laser research and development group; our research mainly focus on different types of a laser system design and development. We are also working on designing of prototype gas and diode lasers for spectroscopic application. Presently our prime focus is on fabrication of laser diode based UV laser systems. We offer graduate and undergraduate projects on design simulation and building of prototype small scale lasers including basic electronic instrumentation for laser systems and its applications.
